When Chinese or more in general eastern Martial Arts come into discussion, the legendary "Kung Fu Monk" is always on the tip of the tongue.
How much legend is there behind their actual skill? Are they really some sort of superhumans or do we just need to believe that they are?

One of the first things that come up to mind while thinking about these martial arts monks is that they certainly must undergo some form of training, right?
Well, it's not just some kind of training: These dedicated people undergo incredible mental and physical preparation, which also includes the thickening of body parts such as fingers, hands, and heads.
Monks train for many years in order to achieve such a high level of skills. Some of them train for their whole life and some others begin at a tender age. In fact, it's not unusual to see little kids just as young as 2 or 3 years old training their splits and handstand.
Okay, so maybe you're a little bit more into martial arts and you are not easily impressed by some orange-pants-wearing fellas, who claim to demolish the trunk of a tree with just one finger.
In this case, you might want to have some practical and real proof of their skills. Well, what better proof if not directly the direct application of the abilities in the right context? We're talking about Kung Fu applied to mixed martial arts, for example.
Here below we have chosen for you the example that is pretty much self-explanatory.
There are many modern fighters who implement Kung Fu in their daily routine, and they also use it in the ring.
What do you think, are you still dubious about their abilities?
