CCTV has published the filming of an event very dear to Chinese citizens - a tribute to the Chinese martial arts, starring Donnie Yen promoting Wing Chun.

In this video, published by CCTV, the darling of Wing Chun - and of Kung Fu in general - is shown lending himself to a show entirely dedicated to the promotion of Chinese martial arts.

Donnie Yen presents himself in the role of Ip Man but without excessively marking his relationship with the role of Grandmaster Ip Man which made him further popular in the last decade.

Donnie Yen Sends 8 Men to Hospital for harassing his Girlfriend

The performance closes with a Taoist Monk Xuan Jing's writing regarding the reflection of the nature of our existence. It goes as follows:

Man models himself after Earth. Earth models itself after heaven. Heaven models itself after Tao. And Tao models itself after nature. Man is in harmony with Heaven and Earth.
