Former Shaolin Monk
Xie Wei, aka "The Hunter", grew up in Guangzhou, China, where he was a troublemaker. His life changed when at the age of 14 he decided to move to the famous Shaolin Temple, after seeing videos of monks' training and lifestyle.
Xie Wei stayed in the Temple for four long years under the tutelage of senior warrior monks, even becoming finally a coach himself.
Xie's excellence was clear from the beginning: he became the champion of a regional Chinese promotion, scoring a 5-0 record in kickboxing. Very soon Xie started to compete with other organizations, such as ONE. In this specifically, he began competing in ONE Hero Series and ONE Warrior Series.
After another astonishing five straight knockouts, Xie got a contract and he is now able to compete on a global level.
