This match took place back in 2015 in Jiyuan, China in the WLF, which stands for Wu Lin Feng, a martial arts competition. WLF is televised by Henan Television and it is the longest-running martial arts program in China.
The 3-round match offered the best of both fighters: Yi Long and Buakaw fought until the last second, with ups and downs from both sides.
The match ended by points and the victory went to Buakaw.

Yi Long is a self-taught and proclaimed Shaolin Monk who practices many eastern martial arts (together with Wing Chun) and competes in the Welterweight, Super Welterweight, and Super Middleweight competitions.

Buakaw Banchamek is a Thai martial artist who competes with Muay Thai and Kickboxing. In the beginning, he briefly played football professionally, but then proceeded with martial arts. Buakaw is by many regarded and perceived as one of Thailand's best kickboxers ever.

Yi Long, also known as the "Fake Shaolin Monk" encounters Buakaw Banchamek in what was called the Fight of the Century.
