Is the Ip Man Story Real?

Donnie Yen Beats up 8 Adult Men

In 1990, Donnie and Joey Meng, who was an actress at the time, went out together late in the evening. Buzz about their romance was constantly circulating.

Donnie took action when the throng of men, who had identified the actress, demanded a photograph with her and persisted in their insistence in a bothersome way.

Donnie implored the group not to bother Joey, his companion, as she was simply attempting to have a great time. Sadly, the men disregarded his plea and proceeded.

Donnie and Joey were apparently driven away from the club by the persistent troublemakers as they were leaving; this was the catalyst for the decision to intervene.

The 8 men soon arrived at the Hospital and Donnie was held at the Police Station. After examining the incident, the Police allowed Donnie to be released.

The police asked Donnie why he had acted the way he did, and he replied that he had only been defending himself; he had no wish to hurt anyone, but rather to safeguard his girlfriend.

Many of Donnie Yen's admirers were captivated by this story and it is regularly likened to the scene from Ip Man in which Donnie goes up against ten individuals with black belts.

An excellent person to watch demonstrate the style known better to ones as Wing Chun but then to ones more so affiliated with such things Ving Tsun. Definitely a practioner/Sifu I'd like to meet, I actually had a chance to meet GM William Cheung when he came to America a few years back but unfortunately do to stuff I was unable to. I was really looking forward towards that especially considering not long before that date I was able to obtain the ability to meet GM Ki Yun Yi Or Kwan Jang Nim.
